Online SMS-Alert System.

The Student Financial Aid Office of MUET has designed & developed a web based online SMS-Alert System to keep well informed to the Students, Faculty and the concerned administrative officials regarding various Scholarship Opportunities, Deadlines, & News Updates. The Student Financial Aid Office of Mehran University has successfully launched an Online SMS-Alert Portal, where after registration SMSs is delivered to the subscribed users on their Mobile Phones. This system shall develop Strong Communication between all Stakeholders and shall keep them intact to the SFAO-MUET.

Online Video Conferencing with Ihsan Trust.

Student Financial Aid Office of Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro arranged Online Video-Conferencing Interviews for the poor and deserving students to award them Interest Free Loans- Qarz e Hasna by Ihsan Trust through Meezan Bank and 12 students of MUET were awarded interest free loans

Talent Grooming Workshop USAID-funded MNBSP .

The 2-Days "Talent Grooming Workshop" for the students enrolled under USAID-funded Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program (Phase II) in the partner universities was organized by the Capacity Building & Alumni Affairs of Higher Education Commission-Islamabad in join Collaboration with Student Financial Aid Office-Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro The participants of the workshop were the students from IBA-Sukkur, Sindh Agriculture University-Tandojam and the Mehran University. The purpose of the workshop was to enhance the knowledge and skills of the students, to boost their confidence level and to motivate them to contribute positively as a best human resource towards socio-economic development of the country. Various experts from Academia and Industry were invited to share their knowledge & experiences with participants. Portal Technology, E-Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Future Market Demands, Competence Management, Best Practice Transfer, Important Areas to be Emphasized in Student's Academic Life, Networking: Role of Industry/Students Linkages During Educational Life, Positive Attitude, Confidence Building, Decision- making skills and importance of decision making, Self-Discovery & Talent Management, Acquiring excellence in career, Best Solutions to make Research Projects easy for students as the part of their projects and how to compile the Research Report, Communication Skills in perspective of Reading, Writing, Listening with listening, speaking practices, Higher Education: Innovative Thinking, Perceptions about education, higher professionalism and future prospective, Inter/Intrapersonal Skills, Presentation Skills along with Group Activity, Presentations and Interactive Group Discussions. A career counseling panel discussion session was held to give insight to the participants for future road map for young graduates and the issues regarding young talent for future leadership and coping with the challenges & opportunities faced by the students during and after academics were discussed in detail by various experts
